Safety Is Everyone’s Responsibility at McJay Heavy Haul
At McJay Heavy Haul, safety is at the forefront constantly. That’s why we recruit qualified and experienced drivers. We consider training and education as an ongoing mission that never ends. Our drivers complete a Field Level Risk Assessment and Drivers’ Checklist before leaving for any new jobs.
We maintain a full-time Health and Safety person who ensures the regulatory requirements are met. We also have a comprehensive Health and Safety program that is constantly being reviewed and updated to meet the goals of our company and our clients.
All our drivers have the following training:
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
- First aid
- Numerous site-specific orientations
Partnered with AMTA, we are SECOR certified.
